Illinois Governor Takes Parting Shot At State’s Richest Man For Moving To Florida – Daily Wire

In prepared remarks for a meeting of Florida Democrats last weekend, Gov. JB Pritzker said, “So like a spoiled rich kid, Griffin announced he was taking his toys and leaving Illinois. Where did he move to? You guessed it. His $400 million, 20-acre Palm Beach estate. And he’s one of Ron DeSantis’ largest donors.”

The headline should have stated that Illinois has left Ken Griffin. There, I fixed it.

That’s right JB, Griffin has and will continue to donate an awful lot to DeSantis. And that’s who you’ll be up against when you grab for the golden ring of the presidency. Maybe Griffin didn’t run away from Illinois, maybe he ran to Florida to get closer to the guy that kicks your behind.

Because Obama came from Chicago, that makes it ‘glorious’!? Isn’t the income tax hit from Griffin and Citadel leaving sizable? Not sure who Pritzker is trying to impress with his heckling. But it fits with him.

He, Pritzger, is peed off because Griffith earned his money and Pritzger was given his through the trust fund all of the heirs to the family fortune receive. Platinum spoon baby couldn’t run lemonade stand and they are talking about him as president? Oh wait, look who’s in the WH now.

Folks, the rich really are different. If “progressive” policies drive them all out of Chicago things will become very different for those of you left behind. I’m telling you this from experience living in Detroit.

Here’s a trivia question. How many people in Griffins league are living in the City of Detroit right now?

Doesn’t Pritzker also own a large estate in FL too?

An estate that he hid his family in rather than get locked down in IL.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
