Drag show canceled after UpRising Bakery vandalized; man facing hate crime charges, police say – ABC7 (Chicago)

Owner Corinna Sac said any accusation of targeting children is completely false. "We were not targeting kids. We were opening it up to families who felt like (the drag show) was OK for their kids."

Regardless of what you think about drag shows, vandalizing a business is out of bounds No need to follow the Democrat playbook that violence is OK if you had a good reason.

Agreed, vandalizing is out of bounds, unless you’re a progressive liberal, BLM, or antifa. Then it’s “mostly peaceful protesting.”

It was probably an act of frustration – heaven only knows why the vandal traveled 30 miles to express his opinion.

Mental problem? Some childhood sexual trauma? Who knows what motivates a solo act like this.

What insanity and decadence has taken hold of this Country? This will be our downfall if we do not stop this filthy perversion, especially of our children.

Let kids be kids – stop with “family friendly” drag shows, gender identity in schools, and the general sexualizing of children.

Try talking to kids about this stuff on the playground and you’ll end up in jail, but it’s okay in a commercial or academic setting?

I don’t think so!

“People .…. calling us groomers ….. calling us pedophiles”.
Gee, I wonder why? Fess up, what’s the point of this at a freakin’ bakery with children in attendance?
There’s an agenda and they’re too dishonest to admit it.
Drag queens are not clowns or mimes, their sordid display is all about sexuality and nothing more.
Any parent who brings a child (!!) is a horrible parent, and will reap what they sow.

Run this business out of McHenry County. No you are not welcome here. Yes, we are intolerant of Groomers who target children with filth. Too bad, freak.

It would be easy to require the shows to be adult only. The fact that the owners don’t do that raises all sorts of questions.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
