Why Is There So Much Violence in Chicago? Lack of Resources and Systemic Racism – Teen Vogue

Said Cecilia Ruiz of Yollocalli Arts Reach, "There's no way to have this conversation without talking about systemic and institutional racism. I think that it's important for all of these funding sources to be dedicated to communities like my own, Little Village, but unfortunately, that is not the case. And that is not by coincidence. That is racially motivated. It is a crime against humanity, against racial and ethnic minority groups."

Not just Chicago. It’s in every major city under Democratic rule. Comments are good for this video.

Hundreds of thousands of black families have fled Chicago in the past two decades. They now live in the relatively low crime suburbs and many have left the state entirely for greener pastures in different states. The violent crime in Chicago is contained and most eminates from residents who live in a handful of communities. Residents want to live in the bad neighborhoods because they WANT to live in those communities. They stay in Englewood, Austin, Roseland for the same reasons you stay in IL: friends, family, jobs, community organzations, roots in the neighborhood. Just like you stay in IL,… Read more »

Race Hustling Frauds Try To Blame Chicago Violence On ‘System Racism’ — Which Does Not Exist — Instead Of Soft On Crime Democrat Laws And Policies — Which Do Exist

*If* there *is* a lack of resources & systemic racism in Chicago…

Wouldn’t that infer that the (D)’s who have been running Chicago/Illinois for decades, are culpable for allowing this to continue to occur…?

It’s like the slob, who lives alone, complaining about how dirty his apartment is…

As soon as I read or hear systemic racism, equitable etc., I move on to something else. It’s been so overused it means nothing.

“Why Is There So Much Violence in Chicago?”
Not enough skates and skating lessons, and too many police, according to Teen Vogue.

You know, I’m shocked that I didn’t think of that……

Because when I want reliable information, I beeline it straight to Teen Vogue. Dear Teen Vogue, address the systemic lack of black fatherhood first, then initiate discussion about racism. Until then, keep your excuses and blaming to yourself.

This is all my fault. I was too busy working my life away trying to provide for my family to read Teen Vogue. Now that Cecilia has straightened me out, I’m going to dedicate the time I have left to fixing the world’s problems. If only I had started sooner.

Per Hey Jackass, 78% of murder victims in 2022 have been black. Since it’s black assailants killing black victims, that means that 300+ blacks murdered 300+ other blacks. Is this the racism that Miss Teen Vogue is talking about? I know in her world white people are always to blame, but what is the link between white people living their lives and minding their own business and black thugs? The black thugs do not arm themselves because of white people visiting their neighborhoods and causing mayhem. If the assailants need jobs, there are Help Wanted signs everywhere. If the assailants… Read more »

The thugs are *glorified* as martyrs when they meet their demise at the hands of the police, where the hard working black people are vilified as *Uncle Toms*…

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
