Life Expectancy In Illinois Decreased In 2020 With COVID-19 Deaths – Patch Across Illinois

Life expectancy in Illinois declined by 2.2 years in 2020 to 76.8 years, according to a new report from the National Center for Health Statistics. Nationally, life expectancy dropped to 77 years in 2020, down from 78.8 in 2019. No state saw an increase in life expectancy in 2020.
