Some Texas migrants housed in suburban hotels; Burr Ridge mayor says he wasn’t warned – ABC7 (Chicago)

In total, nearly 300 migrants have been bused from Texas to Chicago in the last two weeks. Gov. JB Pritzker, appearing at an unrelated event Thursday, called on Texas Governor Greg Abbott to stop. "Our staffs have been in contact with one another, but they have been wholly uncooperative in Texas."

Any Politicians or voters (virtue signalers) who support this need to be forced to house them in their homes and cloth, feed and pay for their schooling.

We are being invaded. This is all by design. It has been going on in Western Europe – now being escalated here. If people don’t put a stop to this, we are done for as a Country. Lord Jesus Help Us.

Can they send a bus load or two to Oak Park? Because Y’know, those people are so nice, liberal, and accepting of other cultures.

The irony. Chicago says we’re a sanctuary city but as soon as they get a bus load they shunt them off to a wealthy suburb. You can’t make this stuff up. Wonder why Lori didn’t let a few stay on her couch?

Geee! Who saw that coming, Lori of the welcoming city sends them to the suburbs! The mayor of Burr Ridge is upset, Lori didn’t communicate the latest turn! Watch it, she’ll also stick Burr Ridge with the tab. Arbuckle approves! Country side? Eh! It’s probably an improvement. Most of Countryside has one foot in the joint! Friends of Madigan!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
