The Illinois Supreme Court has appointed Illinois Appellate Court Justice Joy Cunningham to fill Burke's vacant seat on the court for the remainder of her term, through Dec. 2, 2024. Burke's term as chief justice ends Oct. 24, and the court has selected Justice Mary Jane Theis as the next chief justice.
Trading one useless woke piece of crap judge for another. Oh joy.

We will be paying her ridiculous pension for ever. The whole thing sucks. Where is the law, where is the investigations that out these people, where is the justice? These people will just walk into the sunset and we get to pay and pay…there is no justice.

Good riddance to unqualified judge immediately ascending from 3rd-rate law-school.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

She has apparently some experience but another third rate school grad.
Once a month a Brinks truck will pull up to the Burke residence to drop off 40 gold bars for the Burke’s state pension payment.
Disgraceful.
She can retire now, her husband, indicted alderman Ed Burke, has stolen enough money during his time in office that they can live like royalty
