Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Stop providing free money to your fine citizens. Must be a democrat. Never had a problem he didn’t want to dump on somebody else! Just another democrat.
Yes, we know lead is very, very bad. However, do we have any evidence that these lead pipes are have caused harm yet? They keep saying how bad the lead pipes are but there hasn’t been a single story I’ve seen that says “My kid drank water from lead pipes and here are his neurological problems”
My understanding is that the fluoride in the water leaches lead out of the pipes. Most of the lead contaminants are at the end point like a water fountain which may not be used too often and thus have the highest concentrations of lead. That is probably where the water is tested.

What I would do to test the water is find some lead pipes and run some non fluoridated water thru them and see if the levels are the same as fluoridated water.
Perhaps Biden should have invested in America instead of Ukraine.
Imagine how those billions of dollars could have helped AMERICANS!
