After gaining control of the House of Representatives in 2018, Democrats are in danger of losing the chamber in the upcoming election thanks to a variety of factors, and five Illinois races could prove key to the efforts of both parties this November.

As it stands now, the lunatic Democrats in Congress are scared out of their wits. They see the numbers and feel the seething anger towards where their party has taken the country over the past (almost) two years. You see this if you travel more than 40 miles from Chicago, which brain dead Chicago media types seldom do. We are fortunate if these elitists even acknowledge that the rest of the state even exists, although they normally do so with derision. I don’t know if Pekau can defeat Casten, but I sure hope so. Casten represents everything wrong with this country. He must be nervous though, as he’s working hard to hold onto that seat. His pandering has reached new levels. I expect to see him dressed in drag and claiming he got an abortion in his next ad.

The AWFLs in the suburbs will decide this race. I was at a party a few weeks ago with half a dozen AWFLs and within the 10 minutes of everyone arriving, the women couldn’t help themselves but go into anti-Trump, non-binary that, Trumpsters this, transphobes that. These are 30’s, 40’s suburban women, own homes, have two or three kids. These are people I’ve known for 20 years or more but no longer see as often.
