Community group at odds with shelter, city over donations for immigrants bused from Texas – Chicago Sun-Times

The Pilsen-based Mural Movement plans to continue providing donations directly to immigrants arriving in chartered buses from Texas. “You gotta get this (expletive) up and get it out of here,” a Salvation Army worker could be heard telling a Mural Movement volunteer distributing clothing in the video. A Mural Movement spokesperson said other people have had difficulties submitting donations through the city.
