Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The destroyers, oops democrats, just need Cook County to win any statewide election. They’ll sweep with 90% of the vote.
These polls are fake. There’s been about 10 point shift in the electorate to the right since the last election, primarily among Hispanics and independents, and now, even college educated woman. 10 points is more than enough to change in swing states and only the most leftist states will stay blue this election. Even New York might elect a Republican Governor.
But this national swing aren’t represented in these IL polls, not at all. Why would every other state have this swing but IL does not?
Because the polls are fake. That’s why.
12 more days debtsor and then you’ll no longer be able to cling to your “fake polls” narrative. Then you can switch to your “election fraud” narrative. The Illinois GOP has put an awful candidate at the top of the ticket. He couldn’t attract money or attention from the national party during a red wave election. That’s because he is awful. AWFUL. Calling Chicago a hellhole while highlighting that you’re a farmer is not a winning strategy in Illinois. “Hey Illinois voters, I think where 2/3 of you live sucks and I make my money farming near Kentucky. Vote for… Read more »
Chicago is a hellhole and he was never going to win more than a token number of Chicago voters anyways. What is your point? Show me one suburbanite independent or R who said “Bailey ripped on Chicago, I wont’ vote for him.” That voter doesn’t exist. You can show me a million D’s who won’t vote for him either but that doesn’t matter – no D is ever going to vote for an R. Not a single D voted for Rauner. Not one D in the state voted for Rauner. He was an ‘awful’ candidate too – he was a… Read more »
Yes I’m sure you’re right agin. If a Chicago candidate was running a statewide election and they called the area south of 80 “Hicksville”, I’m sure that wouldn’t offend any of the voters. Of course that example would be less of a problem because that area of the state makes up the minority of the state. Bailey is so dumb that he thinks throwing that insult to 2/3 of the voters is a wise move. Just because the base loves it doesn’t mean it is a winning strategy. Even if you believe that his comment doesn’t hurt him, why say… Read more »
The big shocker in this polling is Bailey is winning among men 49.1% to 42.7%. And shows how important the women vote is, particularly the suburban women vote, for jb & dem machine. Maybe same story nationally? And more importantly, jb paying $24 million to to make sure Bailey got nominated with his very conservative social positions was key to insuring the women’s vote for jb. And, yikes–looks like Amendment 1 is pretty much a done deal for machine.
https://twitter.com/IAPolls2022 R’s have a 4 point lead over D’s in a generic ballot and a 10! point lead among independents IN THE MIDWEST! Here’s a great example of a ‘bad’ candidate about to win an govenorship. Kari Lake in AZ is a ‘bad’ candidate – in fact, the D party in AZ spent $$$ to make sure Kari Lake was the winning candidate in the primary. SOund familiar? D’s meddling in the primaries to get the MAGA candidate as the primary winner? Kari Lake has an 11 point lead, 54-43, according to one poll. But D’s thought Kari Lake, an… Read more »
