A white middle school teacher says she is asking a federal court to end a pervasive hostile learning and working environment for white students and teachers at Evanston/Skokie School District 65, not to ban books or shut down classroom discussion surrounding race.

It’s a race to the bottom in some areas of this country. We’re headed for another civil war I fear. This time it will be Common Sense vs Wokesters. The current administration has truly accelerated the timeframe for such a disaster. Biden was the perfect puppet to execute their plan. He’s a feeble, incapacitated fool with an oversized ego. His replacement is, hard to believe, exponentially worse.

It’s hard to fathom that the entire suburb of Evanston is completely populated with wokesters. They must enjoy flushing their property tax dollars down the drain.

As a conservative living in Evanston, I can assure you it is quite the sh*t show… a gaggle of five – year olds could do a much better job…

I’ll be honest, I couldn’t imagine living in Evanston as a conservative. It would drive me nuts. Heck I get triggered when I see the occasional “hate has no home here sign.”

Lol… America’s worst enemies could not do worse damage than the libtard wokesters do. And yeah, all those “Hate Has No Home Here” and “Black Lives Matter” placards in the rich folks’ yards are highly amusing. When I see those, I always think, “Hey, let’s put some Section 8 housing next door!”. Seriously, ” You Can’t Fix Stupid ” should be Evanston’s civic motto…

These school districts have adopted equity 100%. My local school board’s equity page claims (without evidence) that the educational system institutionalized racism and that my district will do its best to root out racism in every form. So how did they do that? They got rid of honors classes in some departments! True story!

Hope she wins and sues their “A” off. Some of these people need to go to jail for what they are subjecting students and staff to.

Unfortunately, nobody’s going to jail. If she wins, Evanston taxpayers will compensate her (and her attorney), as well as paying for the School Board’s defense. The only possible positive outcome would be that more than 10% of the voters might turn out for the next School Board election. We complain about high property taxes but somehow end up blaming the Assessor, rather than the local officials responsible for most of the taxes.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
