Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Now the GOP just needs to work on deprogramming their voters that it’s safe to vote early and their ballot won’t be tampered with. They did such a good job with the election fraud lies that now their voters don’t trust VBM.

Where is your proof that many others violated the law and got away with it? What election had its results changed because of this?

Also, not sure how many county election offices don’t have both democrat and republican observers. Certainly in any county worth it there would be an observer. So no, this didn’t impact any election results.

Turnout across the country in 2018 was up over 20% nationwide. Rauner was a bad candidate who barely won the nomination. A 3rd party canservative candidat sucked 4.2% of the vote from Rauner’s 38.8%. That gives Rauner 43% of the vote. Once you start looking away from batsh*t crazy explanations for Pritzker winning, the numbers make more sense. My personal opinion is that all voting take place on Election Day, early voting only for military out of the state/country or those on vacation & out of the state…

Curious though, why do you trust the people collecting and counting your vote on Election Day but not those same people when it’s mailed in?

My guess, based on past elections, is that the new ground game produces several hundred thousand more votes.
