Latino Communities ‘Shocked’ By Property Tax Increase, Neighborhood Advocates Say – WTTW (Chicago)

“Folks that have come in and reached out to us directly are in shock, seeing property tax bills double. In one particular case we have, a longtime home homeowner got a bill of over $10,000,” said Moises Moreno, of the Pilsen Alliance. “This is not something that they could afford and folks are running around looking for help, and we’ve heard folks saying this is not fair.”

Shocked? Really? How stupid do you have to be, this is exactly what they voted for. They should expect endless tax increases under the demoncrats while their children are groomed with porn in the grade schools. Then comes forced transitions against the parents will. Keep voting communists Latinos, you have no choice those Republicans must be racists.

Using Mr Diaz’s logic, he should get Black folks to move into these Latin neighborhoods.

The term Latino suggests Latin and that just stinks of Whiteness. Hispanic, on the other hand, suggests Spain but this also smells of Whiteness.

Sorry muchachos but being a “person of color” has only one legal definition and you guys just don’t quite make it.

Keep in mind that all this taxation is completely justified due to your slave owning ancestors… Unless of course you don’t have any slave owning ancestors, in which case, it is simply because of your Whiteness.

As one former Chicago journalist once put it; “I may be wrong, but I doubt it.”

Great crime protection! Clean neighborhoods! Urine smelling CTA! And wonderful dangerous public parks! Hopefully you will figure out sometime soon that you are doing this to yourselves and you do have the power to change it.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
