It is a way to put more supply of these weapons on the market for the crooks. Honest people do not kill, crooks kill. Honest people obey the law, crooks use the law to their advantage.

A man has been arrested in the shooting of 4 people on the northwest side. 3 already dead and one in very critical condition with a gsw to the head. The suspect was released from prison, on parole, in September of 2022. 3 months later he commits this crime. In prison after being convicted of home invasion where 2 people were murdered. He was charged with 10 counts of murder in that case along with 20 other violent felonies. All charges were dropped by the Cook County states attorney except for 2 home invasion charges. Convicted in 2018 in this… Read more »

Goes to my theory that good neighborhoods too close to bad neighborhoods will degentrify as crime and chaos spreads. This psychopath apparently lived not too far away in an apartment on Montrose Ave, likely in Albany Park (which has really deteriorated in the past few years) less than two miles to the north. He didn’t travel to Barrington or Inverness to commit these crimes, he was within a mile or two radius of his home.

Democrats always only focus on the weapon. Republicans focus on the person pulling the trigger.

I can’t possibly believe this will survive the court challenges sure to follow…

Adolph Pritzger and the storm troopers of the democrat party at it again. Law abiding citizens are the problem. Chicago has hit the 700 homicide mark for 2022 (stat provided by HEYJACKASS.COM) and how many of those homicides were committed by law abiding, foid carrying, lawful gun owners? My bet, none. Solution? Turn those innocent law abiding citizens into felons. Best part “There will be a $25.00 registration fee”. Is that fee for each firearm? Per firearm sounds more like it. Force people via intimidation and threats of jail time then charge a fee. Perfect behavior from the most biased… Read more »

“Residents also many not purchase or possess magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds”

Nearly all modern guns have magazines with clips more than 10 rounds. These degenerate legislatures know they can’t ban the guns, they can’t ban the bullets, so they’re banning the magazine. Sure, the constitution says you can own a Glock, but you effectively can’t use it, because the magazines hold more than 10 rounds.

The legislature wants to turn millions of IL residents into felons overnight.

Because they hate you and they want to destroy you.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
