Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Shockingly, articale list CC with +251k court case backlog!!! Is this highest case backlog of any county?? Why in the world is +251k court case backlog never even mentioned in conjunction w Safety-T Act?? Or Chicago astronomical crime rate?? What in the world are timmy /kimmie/tommy doing about this disaster or how has jbs never ending covid emergencies effected the situation are press never asks?? Unbalivable!!
The absolute 100% flop of CC courts to perform their basic functions @ astronomical $prices$ could never, ever, possibly, ever have anything to do with any of the systemic racist bs arguments the fake progressive machine dishes out?? UNBALIVABLE HYPOCRISY ON AN EPIC SCALE!!!
Or simply, is the political reality behinde ending cash bail with Safety-T Act is it has nothing to with ending some supposed systemic inequality and everything to do with masking over CC courts incompetence @ astronomical $$????
Not to worry, after SAFE T kicks in nobody charged with a crime will show up in court because there will be no consequences
Justice and Cook County is an oxymoron.
Don’t worry, nothing will happen the criminals at trial. Cops maybe able to book some extra overtime and help spike their pensions for the new home in Punta Gorda, Florida. The whole system is one big joke. The cops rarely make arrests and then the courts rarely doing anything about it. If you like crime go to the Shitty of Chicago, if you don’t like crime stay the heck out of it.
What is with you and cops moving to Florida? Give it a rest already
