The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.
Anyone who cares about their family’s future is fleeing Illinois. Other states have issues, but nothing like Illinois. The greedy government workers have Stolen’d money from the next unborn generations. It is a bottomless pit of GREED.
