Gas prices surging again, Illinois among priciest markets: AAA – FOX32 (Chicago)

AAA reports the national average is up 12 cents since last week, now sitting at $3.42. In Chicago, the current average price is $3.97 a gallon - roughly 20 cents a gallon higher than the same time last year. Meanwhile, at the beginning of the new year, lllinois’ gas tax officially went up.

$3.09.9 all over Beloit. At one Illinois station the gas was $0.60 a gallon more. Filled up in the land of cheese.

It’s Putin’s fault, right JB? Wasn’t Putin supposed to be dead by now? All the mainstream media told me Ukraine was winning the war and Putin was on his deathbed. A few hundred billion later and Ukraine has been ravaged and Putin is still around. Wait until we get the bill to rebuild Ukraine. Still, we can’t spend a few billion to secure our southern border?

Highest taxes and the worst roads. The state does not have the change of a nickel. It is A$$ high in debt to far too generous pensions. The system is so broken it cannot be fixed.
