Pritzker responds to DeSantis’ Illinois visit criticizing ‘woke’ politics – Center Square

"Many of the things we have invested in over the last couple of years have been to the benefit of our police departments across Illinois," Gov. JB Pritzker said. "We are going to continue to do what is right for law enforcement."

The fact that he can say this with a straight face means he actually believes what he is saying…

The left lives in an alternate reality…

Where, if they “believe it”, then its true…

Besides Seattle & Portland, Chicago is one of the most anti police cities in America…

JB’s comments are typical of any democrat. He touts what he has “invested” in without any reference to any measurable improvements that result from the increased spending. Then a cherry picked a US News and World Report ranking f states K-12 which shows NJ has tops n the nation in K-12. Does anyone really believe that is true. Why don’t they go directly to the state’s own dismal performance statistic for evidence of how things are going in Illinois?

SAFE T act. If an officer fails to activate their body camera properly they will be charged with a felony and face prison time. Handcuffs too tight, felony, prison time, phone calls not given in the prior time period, criminal behavior. Arrest somebody and they walk out the back door as the cop walks in the front door and back to their criminal ways. Lots of support from the Fat Boy and democrats.

This is downright funny. JB wants to get into a debate with DeSantis about who has better policing and law enforcement ideas? Good luck with that JB. You will get laughed off the stage.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
