As long as Leftists like Pritzker and Johnson are in charge, the state and it’s cities will see an exodus of people smart enough to know what socialism brings.

Liberals absolutely do not want all conservatives out of Illinois: they instead view them as useful idiots. They especially do not want to see members of the super-minority that are high wager earners leaving. Demographics are such that the libs will remain comfortably in control for the foreseeable future.

No, they want you gone. Read the capfax comments. That’s how they think. They mock you when you leave. They hate you.

Illinois is losing so many people every year because of high crime and high taxes. The services are the worst. Soon it will be a ghost town, as it should be.

Quality of life being a conservative trapped in a blue state? LOL, there’s nothing worse than being a Republican in a Democrat state. They hate you and seek retribution.

Do you even realize how ironic that statement is for you to make? I can’t begin to recall how many times I’ve seen your similar statements to that same effect re Democrats as the evil tribe and how they should be destroyed. Look in the mirror and see your reflection. Get a clue!

I don’t turn the other cheek anymore. I recognize my opponent and I fight accordingly. Democrats are an existential threat to my existence.

And yet you criticize the other side for taking the same approach to their own behavior. How are we EVER going to get along as a society when each tribe is so entrenched as to despise the other with such venom. Civil War looms large, I fear. We don’t embrace people as as a whole being anymore but choose to fixate on some of their preferential causes. We need a larger view of life to appreciate that everyone else’s beliefs don’t have to perfectly mirror our own.

There’s no civil war coming. I know that’s what the pundits think. More people care about the NFL draft than their local school board elections. What’s happened is that the Bolsheviks have taken over the Democrat Party. They will rule and destroy with an iron fist. Those who live in the communist controlled areas are fighting back as best as they can before they are forced to flee.

There is no reconciling with the irrationality of Leftist governance. When you have a state controlled by one party how exactly do the Leftists “appreciate” others beliefs?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
