Illinois lawmaker rips Chicago Democrats after ‘Teen Takeover’ terrorizes city: ‘An embarrassment’ – FOX News

Rep. Darin LaHood called out Chicago's Democrat leadership after teenagers caused chaos in the city over the weekend: "This is an embarrassment to the city of Chicago. It's an embarrassment to the state of Illinois. This type of violence from youth running through Chicago, unfortunately, this is becoming more and more routine...We are losing families. We are losing businesses out of Chicago. When you have police that are demoralized because of the policies of the current mayor and the state's attorney there, it's ridiculous. "

The ruling party in Cook County is the black caucus and nothing will be done about out of control black crime. It’s reparations in the purest form.

You are assuming a fair and honest election.
Do you really think the people of Illinois voted in JB?
Do you really believe Chicagoans voted out Lori for someone even worse like Brandon?
I think not, these politicians were selected.

Our state government and municipal elections are in the midterms. Turnout is always down by hundreds of thousands in the midterms vs. the general election. JB and the Dems figured in 2018 they needed a couple hundred thousand extra votes, at most, to overcome Rauner. They just need only a small percentage of the general election voters to vote in the midterm and overcome Rauner’s 1.8 million expected votes. Well, JB managed to somehow get an extra 700,000 votes over Quinn, through mail-in and early voting. I would suspect that many of those 700,000 votes in 2018 and again in… Read more »

Chicago looks like a pure war zone. If you were offered a job in Chicago today, would you accept it and move there?

Chicago’s awful progressive policies alienates half the country. This is how the producers feel about Chicago. People are rejecting the very idea of moving here. They can’t get smart center, center right or conservatives to come here. But that’s OK, they’re all racists anyways, they’re not welcome in Chicago, LOL

This story has dominated conservative media for days. Nary a peep from Democrats who don’t follow conservative media, and haven’t got the slightly clue how half the country is mocking them. They really have no idea. They believe the carnival barkers – aka half the country – are saying somethings about them, but they are racists natsees so it’s OK to ignore them.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
