Foxx may be best remembered for fumbling the prosecution of Jussie Smollett. But under Foxx, the Cook County state’s attorney’s office expunged thousands of cannabis convictions since the state legalized marijuana in 2019; struggled to onboard enough new prosecutors as experienced litigators have departed in droves; and repeatedly fought the perception that the office does not aggressively pursue violent criminals, including after a fatal shootout that was caught on video.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Well, given the way Fox has conducted herself in the past, I suppose that we should expect her to go pretty much hog wild for the next two years. It’s not like she needs to worry about winning another election. Chesa Boudin was recalled in one of the most liberal counties. LA’s attorney George Gascon barely got away. That crazy woman from St. Louis, Kim Gardner, is barely hanging on.
Larry Krasner in Philly is facing impeachment, and the supermajority R legislature in WI is whispering about removing Milwaukee’s DA too. I, like you, hope this purge comes quickly, because Soros prosecutors have left a trail of death and destruction in their wake.
And DeSantis removed Tampa’s Soros prosecutor too.
To replace her I hope that a good law and order type runs and gets elected.
Cook County also needs a budget for hiring enough competent people to prosecute when they should.

There hasn’t been a BLM rally in two summers.
But look at voting patterns. Soros prosecutors, who openly campaign on and practice race-based justice, win overwhelmingly in black while also winning in hispanic communities too.
Even in our recent race, Johnson won virtually all black votes. Vallas had slim majorities in mostly hispanic neighborhoods, but lost mixed race neighborhoods handily.
Yes, latinos are slowly shifting towards the Republican Party. Seems to be some regionality to that though, with FL/TX having more R hispanics than the socialist DSA hispanics we have up north.
I believe a vocal minority of minority voters want race-based justice.
The vast majority of any color or ethnicity are law-abiding decent people – unfortunately, the people who dominate the leftist news are energized by the progressive narrative. Between indoctrinating kids and convincing minorities they are lifelong victims and condoning ‘silly decisions’ (aka: riots, looting, terrorizing, vandalizing) by teens, what more can we expect from impressionable kids?

It’s not a vocal minority. It’s the majority of minority voters. Don’t listen to the opinion polls. They produce incoherent results because of cognitive dissonance. Polls say, on the one hand, minorities want more policing in their neighborhoods, but at the same time, they distrust the police and they want the racist criminal justice system to go easy on their family and friends.
Instead, look at voting patterns. Minorities overwhelming vote for race based justice. In every urban area and city the Soros prosecutors win. Their policies are wildly popular among minorities.

I can’t find the verbatim quote now, but some pundit once said that there’s nothing worse in political life than being a conservative in a blue state.
I am not aware of any way to manipulate votes here unless somebody gets a bunch of other people on different machines to vote.
