New York City got the biggest chunk - $30.5 million, a drop in the bucket considering the FEMA ask was for $350 million. The District of Columbia Department of Human Services got $7.2 million. Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson’s reaction was more measured than his New York City counterpart: "“We are disappointed, as we know these funds are not enough to address the challenges our city faces as we respond to this crisis.”

From reading all the articles, it’s very hard to know what the cities budget is on a per migrant/ per year basis and what that includes? Probably the city & state have no clue either, just keep throwing countless $100 of millions of taxpayer bucks at this bottomless pit situation as usual?
Remember how much fun the dems had trashing President Trump for his sincere efforts to control our southern border…??? Now they aren’t laughing so hard…

A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
