Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I think I’ve seen these photos at the post office.
Are all the other CPUSA members getting a guaranteed Tier I $multi-million$ pension for teaching for 4 years and $188k yr salary from combinde CC & CTU….all on the taxpayers dime?
I have to laugh at this. The current head of the CPUSA, who lives in Chicago, was a former client of mine in a workforce program. I had to negatively exit the slacker because he refused to buckle down and look for a real job. He was always finagling to get “free stuff – that’s why he lives in a crappy basement apartment in a crummy area of Rogers Park, lol…
That party is indeed a joke. The Socialist party is not, however, with I think 6 members in Chicago City Council including new Zoning committee chairman. Brandon is a Marxist in all but name. It’s fair to ask if today’s leftists, on the whole, cannot be called communists instead of leftists. When you combine socialist economics with all their other crap, including opposition to free speech, that’s communism as most people would define it.
“JesseKellyDC: All communism is simply a promise made to some “oppressed” group of people to hurt the people who supposedly run things in order to make a society more equal. Soviets used wealth. We use race, gender, and sexual orientation. Same ideology. Different language.” – Radio Talk Show Host Jesse Kelly when asked to define communism.
BJ has made it clear which groups are oppressed and which groups of people he intends to hurt in order to make things more equal.
Churchill said that it was the equal distribution of misery.
This commie puke was not happy that I exited him, he tried to argue with me. BUT, I replied, “You have not been in contact with me for many months, despite my attempts to reach you… as you know, one of the requirements is for you to keep in contact with me, you signed the application stating that you would do so…” He hung up the phone on me, lol…
The only seat in government that a Communist deserves is a seat on the electric chair.
