Plan to house migrants at Wright College met with both boos and support at tense, packed community meeting – Chicago Tribune/MSN

A Chicago police officer puts out paper for migrant children to draw on. The children are taking shelter with their families in the lobby of the 17th District Chicago police station on May 4.City Colleges Chancellor Juan Salgado endured the first round of boos when he said told the crowd he was “confident that this will go well.” The local alderman, Nick Sposato, 38th, tried to calm them down with a “We’re better than this,” but some in the crowd kept yelling, “Bulls---.” The City Council is expected to vote on allocating $51 million in surpluses to keep shelter and food operations running through next month.

The 10 year empty Chicago high rise building on Michigan Avenue and the empty Conrad Hilton on Erie and Michigan are perfect candidates for migrants

They need to file a lawsuit. People need to overlook their differences and put an end to this mess.
