The real heroes of the city are the people who help people in need. They do it for free and no huge pensions or great health care programs. They actually get results and bring them into the system to become productive citizens.
Illegal immigration should never be tolerated or subsidized by taxpayers. Illegal immigration needs to be stopped and legal immigration needs to be stopped or curtailed to a miniscule amount. As many illegal immigrants as possible need to be deported. Part of me thinks it’s poetic justice that illegal immigrants are being foisted upon the largely liberal voters of Chicago, but money from taxpayers across Illinois, even from the many conservative regions of Illinois, will be used on the illegal immigrants in Chicago.
