Good news for Illinois drivers: Gas prices have declined since Memorial Day weekend – FOX32 (Chicago)

In the past week alone, gas prices have dropped by seven cents, resulting in an average price per gallon of $3.88. This marks a significant difference from a year ago when the state average was as high as $5.39 per gallon.

How is this news? Gas price declines following a Summer holiday weekend happens every year (almost).

No adults work in any newsrooms in Chicago. None.

Poor Illinoisans. You think this is a good price. You can buy gas for in the upper $2s in many southern states. And by the way, the roads are better, traffic is lighter, and no one shoots at you on the Interstates. Do you really think this is a good deal?
