North Park Marines Building Could Become Migrant Shelter – Block Cub Chicago

The U.S. Marine Corps leased the property from the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago through 2053, Ald. Andre Vasquez said, and it has served as the U.S. Marines’ Joseph J. McCarthy Reserve Center. Vasquez said he believes the Marines aren’t actively using the property and people who are homeless have been living there. It’s also unclear how many people could live in the property.

How about they shelter where they came from?

They are in the US illegally.

La Quinta Inn, Elk Grove Village, took in illegal immigrants around 6 months ago. I have read the village of Elk Grove purchased the property and two adjacent properties. The hotel is being torn down. My guess, it was trashed beyond repair. This done on the taxpayers dime.
