Illinois sheriffs brace for fallout of ‘America’s most dangerous law’ after state supreme court ends cash bail – FOX News

law enforcement, crime sceneSheriff Jeff Bullard of Jefferson County said law enforcement and attorneys will be the ones who bear the brunt of these changes. "We did our job. We arrested them, incarcerated them," Bullard said, "and then the state's attorney makes the argument that they should be remanded for trial, and the judge, based on the SAFE-T Act guidelines, says, ‘Now I'm forced to let them go.’ That's going to increase crime victim frustration … and we share that frustration with them."

YouTube video of Polk County Florida sheriff Judd talking about organized theft rings. Tells the truth about why crime rates are rising and says criminals don’t stop committing crimes when they are arrested and released they just go back to stealing and other crimes because there are no consequences. The Attorney General of Florida speaks as well and makes Raoul look like an ass clown.

Does anybody think the Pigster cares? Does anybody think that politicians with armed security around them 24hrs a day care? These people will never have to face the crime issues that confront commoners every day, business owners etc. All that will happen is crime will continue to rise and the usual crowd will scream racism.

Hope that conservative counties go against it and label everyone like… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
