Pritzker’s CNN Interview: People Dislike Biden’s Handling of Economy Because of ‘False Rhetoric’ from GOP, How Trump Handled COVID – Breitbart

Gov. JB Pritzker stated that people have negative views of President Joe Biden’s handling of the economy because they haven’t gotten over their feelings from “the last year of the Trump administration, in which he did absolutely nothing to protect people from coronavirus.” Pritzker also blamed “the false rhetoric coming from the Republicans, who are pushing Facebook fakery.”

Well, well another CNN article with assorted blames targeted at Trump. With all the current criminal and ethical violations on the burner about the Biden’s was any of that on CNN?
CNN has become a beacon of propaganda for the liberal Democrats and the sad thing is that so many treat CNN the equivalent of Gospel truth.

>>> the last year of the Trump administration, in which he did absolutely nothing to protect people from coronavirus.<<<

This is an outright & provable lie…

Will he now get indicted like DT did…?

Wait until they start fact checking everything he said.

The National Liberal Media Army just loves to fawn over their heroes like JB. The man could drop his drawers and dump on live television and they would swoon over it. The GOP better get their act together and hang the high prices for everything around Biden’s neck. Simplify the message so everyone knows that stumbling mumbling Joe screwed it up for everyone.

Good points. However the Democrat party is largely a cult now – those 35% of the American population who identify as Democrat are lost to any reason with facts, data, and law. Sadly with the outbound migration, IL is more Democrat and cult like than ever.

“… those 35% of the American population who identify as” Republicans “are lost to any reason with facts, data, and law”. There, I just had to correct your typo so it makes some sense! No thanks necessary.

Well, the truth of it is that there’s a 100% chance that 70% of the electorate can be relied on to vote for either Bill The Cat (if he’s got the “D” on his chest), or for P.T. Bridgeport if ‘ol P.T. is the “R’s” guy.

30% of us wish we could vote for someone else.

Here’s P.T. for those too young to remember one of the really great political cartoonist’s characters:

Sure, there are people who will vote D or R no matter what. But, I think the what you fail to realize and/or acknowledge is that the MSM by faaaarrrrrr carries the water of the D party to the point where average, everyday people know no other narrative. They still operate under the delusion that „reporters” tell a neutral story. It takes effort to search out alternate voices, analyze, and decide for yourself where you stand. The D’s count on the fact that the majority of the electorate will not make that effort. Because R voices are much less prominent… Read more »

“R’s by their nature are more open to other points of view, and therefore will read/listen to news from a variety of sources, which is why they are better informed.” No way, José! The MAGA hardliner crowd is anything but that in regards to Trump at least. I’m not suggesting that applies you you necessarily, though.

Please re-read my first line. For every „MAGA hardliner”, there is a post-modern Marxist progressive. The difference is in the middle 60% of the Bell curve. The conservatives/libertarians/R’s in that set are far and away better informed than their Joy Behar watching D counterparts.

Well, I hope you are correct here. I do have faith in the middle 60% or maybe even 67% of the Bell curve’s view of voters’ sentiments. Actually, I think both R’s and D’s in that middle-ground area fear the extremists of the other party. I also hope that the more extreme commenters’ points of view here are not taken all that seriously by the moderates who presumably might monitor this site as well. I’m not opposed to mainstream Republican policies as we used to know them. My parents were moderate Republicans, and so was I as a younger man.… Read more »

By 2024 will JoeyB have any rational thoughts?

His cognitive decline scares me esp. if he chooses Kamala again as his VP.

President Biden rescued the country?!?!?

Old JB delivers that bull pucky with a straight face and his signature smirk.

Heaven forbid he ever gets into the White House, except for a tour.

Democratic politicians can say whatever suits them, confident that 90 % of the lickspittle lamestream media will treat them as if they were Moses come down from Sinai.

The rest of us better get on board, or else……

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
