Follow the money. Trib and Wirepoints should identify and investigate the company-owners, and their political contacts, of these high-cost furtively-awarded “migrant aid” contracts.

It wouldn’t matter one bit if Mayor Johnson’s extended family got 95% of the contracts. No one would care. Democrats can do no wrong in the eyes of their voters. They’ll overlook the most blatant corruption, cronyism, graft and outright theft, as long as it is Democrats doing it. Because they associate Republicans with bad, bad things. In fact, many of Mayor Johnson’s voters view cronyism as how things get done. Gettin’ while the gettin’ is good. Sean Thompson screams about the government mafia all the time and he’s not wrong. Who audits Chicago public spending?

Other cities are found to not be in compliance with HUD policies.
But if a tree is chopped down in a forest and sold for personal profit by corrupt political insiders, does it make a sound?
