This quiet crisis, unfolding now, is the future of Social Security and Medicare – MarketWatch

A new report from pension consultants Milliman argues that the top 100 state and local pensions in the U.S. lost another $74 billion in August. Their overall funded status dropped from 76.8% to 75.3%. In Chicago, 80% of property taxes now go to bail out public-sector pensions. Nationwide, spending on schools and teachers is being squeezed to bail out teachers’ pensions.

Medicare and social security would be sound if they were not raided by are lovely politicians. 60 minutes investigation report 57,000 Ukrainian first responders guess what there salaries are being paid the the us the taxpayers and small businesses are also being funded. If this isn’t a crook of shit I don’t know what is anymore.

As an independent, I wasn’t that big on Haley, but at least she has a plan to save SS & Medicare. (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/i-ll-raise-the-retirement-age-only-for-younger-people-to-save-social-security-republican-presidential-candidate-nikki-haley-says/ar-AA1h7dWt) But politically forget about a fed $ printing press bailout for state & municipal pension millinonares in Illinois at expense of taxpayers nationally, I believe avg ss benefits are $15,000 a yr. Also, I couldn’t imagine another ‘multi-state’ bailout for private sec pensions will have any support either….In anycase, the QE/ fed printing press days are over

The public sector unions have destroyed the quality of life for many.
All this money and the students cannot read or write. Total waste of money.
