Ted joined Dan and Amy to talk about how Chinese battery maker Gotion Inc. is set to receive $8 billion in tax incentives to build a battery plant in Manteno, Illinois, why Manteno residents met on Monday to rally against the battery plant, why Gov. Pritzker is asking for federal help as Chicago struggles with the migrant crisis, and more.

Expect no retraction or apology. This what they do.
The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.
Sounds like somebody told Manteno Mayor he has a really big penis. (Source: South Park “Chinpokomon (‘Americans have big penis’)” episode.)
Well if Pritzker isn’t quite the dictator. “I’m putting the Chinese plant in Manteno, IL and you’ll like it because there is nothing you can do about it.” No choice. Who in the hell in their right mind would vote for a Democrat who can screw you like this? You know Illinois will not do its due diligence and make sure the Chinese aren’t spying on us. Remember the balloon, Swallwell’s Chinese girlfriend, and the Chinese chauffeur? Once this operation is built the Chinese will own Manteno and move on to the next one.
And the procedure for replacing an incompetent governor is…
…do nothing, that’ll show him.
Great conversation Ted! I’m glad you had fun. I wish I could have made it out there.
