These people aren’t liberals, they are leftists, and therefore, virulent racists. Leftists will always side with the non-whites, regardless of their supposed allies’ political values. Does Bartley care that Palestinians believe in a theocracy, they reject every LGBTQP+ precept, they marry their first cousins (consanguinity in Palestine is between 45% – 55%, depending on the study), their women are forced to marry their cousins, and there are no freedoms that we enjoy in America today.
