Englewood residents rally against migrant bus arrivals – FOX32 (Chicago)

Hosted by the Black American Voters Project and NumbersUSA, panelists shared how they feel immigration negatively impacts Black Americans. Said panelist Pamela Denise Long, "I think what we’re seeing there is we’re at this crucial point in American history where we’re trying to balance diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism with what it means to be a nation state that attends to the needs of its own people first."

Are Black voters finally realizing how they have been made fools of by the Democrat party for decades and decades? I doubt it. Look at the Wirepoints stories on reading and math proficiency in Chicago and it is no wonder they get duped on a regular basis.

Blacks aren’t being made fools. The Democrat party gives them most of what they want: affirmative action, reparations, generous welfare, racial set-asides, lax crime policies. Republicans, even RINOs, are very much against all of this. Again, the Vivek south side listening tour laid this bare. Blacks have a major problem with this current crop of Democrats leaders. Blacks overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. The Democrat party platform endorsed widespread immigration and President Biden, also heavily supported by blacks, put the situation on steroids. What is with these blacks? They got what they voted for and are now unhappy with the situation. Team Biden has screwed up so badly on every level that their own base is turning on each other. That’s all this is. The historically disenfranchised group is angry that the newer disenfranchised group is getting more attention, while the newer disenfranchised group is mad that the people promising them free money are sending their money to a country that will never win their war. No wonder Slow Joe is so confused.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
