Chicago has been a sanctuary city since Harold Washington made it so in 1985, when then-Mayor Harold Washington issued an order prohibiting local officials from withholding city services, investigating or prosecuting people solely based on their immigration status. (lifted from Axios).
They won’t ever vote Republican. They’ll just vote for different candidates in the primary, which is the real election is Chicago. With only 10% to 15% turnout in the primary, this will be difficult, but not impossible, to overcome.

CNN polls are not reliable.
We’ve seen this play before and it always ends badly for Republicans. Polls show tight races and then the give me free stuff crowd votes Democrat no matter how many times they’ve been screwed over by Dems. The fact that those votes come in large middle of the night vote dumps bothers nobody.
I think the large middle of the night dumps bother lots of people. They’re part of the reason why I’m here posting every day.
