Questions remain whether city, state funding for the migrant crisis will be enough – Center Square

Mayor Brandon Johnson said his expectation is that the federal government will step up and help the city. "Just like the state of Illinois knows what their assignment is, just like Cook County government knows what their assignment is, and as a public school teacher, I expect people to turn their assignment in," said Johnson. When asked how much money they would need, Johnson said, "A lot."

Open borders in welfare state can not be sustained for long. We’re going the way of Spain when the gold and silver ran out….

I have an assignment for Brandon. I don’t think it will pass as acceptable here on Wirepoints so I’ll let you use your imagination.

If this is not unhinged policy, what is? No matter how many thousands come, their good or evil intent, their virtues or vices, their skills or incompetence, and so on, we citizens will ultimately be accountable for their care and feeding and pursuit of happiness, irrespective of the impact on us, our families, or the country.

Hidden within the jumper funding away from public scrutiny are all the kickbacks a few will receive. Who pays $195 per hour for care? Hospice is approx $20 per hour. No one questions the amount. Why a Kansas company? Is there no one qualified in Chicago or Illinois? The answer is NO. The city is just waiting to get reimbursed from the Feds. Good Luck.
Why not Re Ship them to another warmer sanctuary state or city? Why is Chicago the only Midwest drop off point? Arctic Circle should be another destination and they can meet Santa Clause.
