I think Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker should be our next President. Seriously. I want to tell you why. – Daily Kos

"The Democratic Party must engage in serious introspection and consider the prospect of nominating an alternative candidate to contend with either Trump or DeSantis in the 2024 election."

While JB likes to paint himself as a woke progressive, his offshore untaxed billions and silver spoon life are going to disenfranchise some Dems. They won’t vote Republican but they may not vote for JB either. Nothing would surprise me though.

The machine behind JB’s record setting 2.5 million votes and Biden’s record 81M votes is still strong, a little weakened in some places, but strong enough to pull through a Democrat president to the finish line, no matter the candidate. The candidate doesn’t matter, it really doesn’t. Democrats elect anyone with a D next to their name because that’s what the machine does. The machine elects whomever the candidate is. It would take an actual coup within the Democrat Party for Biden to be pushed out of office, and the usurper would have to put himself in as the nominee… Read more »

As nancy pelosi famously said someone else told her, “votes are the keys to the kingdom”. We all understood her to mean ballots but she’s not wrong. Democrats get the votes – through their base of reliable voters, and their ballot harvesting the mail in ballots of unreliable voters. Ballot harvesting is a fairly new phenomena to replace the old school stuffing the ballot box fraud that used to occur. And it’s 100% legal in many blue states for third parties to physically harvest the ballots of unreliable voters. That’s the machine I speak of. The ballots put them over… Read more »

I’ll preface my comment that it’s anyone’s guess at this point, and any opinion is as valid as another. But after what we saw in 2020, but I don’t think the regency behind Biden – because that’s what his cabinet and staff is at this point, a regency – is going to ever voluntarily give up power. If Biden goes out, then the new Democrat president surrounds himself with new people, and the people who enjoy power now, all of them will be out in the cold if a new Democrat president is elected. Biden’s regency took unprecedented steps to… Read more »

Can the DNC really push Biden out without their consent if Biden’s regency refuses to step aside? Who or whom in DNC has the power to execute the bloodless coup, really, to nominate someone else? How exactly does a challenger come along and convince the DNC to toss out a sitting president and give the presidency to this new guy? We are talking about the internal political machinations / court intrigue of the most powerful nation that has ever existed in the history of civilization. That would be a conspiracy (not theory, just a conspiracy!) of powerful people within the… Read more »

They legalized cannabis in Illinois so after a few joints it’s possible the writers would want JB to run for Pope. LOL
