Here’s a list of new Illinois laws going into effect in 2024 – WGNTV (Chicago)

One of the new laws will allow noncitizens to become police officers. And landlords will be required to rent or sell property to undocumented migrants, among many other new laws for the new year.

I like this one. Police officers cannot stop a car for having an object hanging from the rearview mirror.
That means if you run someone over and kill them or just kill/shoot anyone just hang them from the rearview mirror. Then your off the hook. LOL
