A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Income is defined as “the amount of money or its equivalent received during a period of time in exchange for labor or services, from the sale of property, or as profit from financial investments.
This is not “income” being given out, it’s Democrat welfare and bribery.
$500 per month for my property taxes would be a boost for my wallet considering I do not use most of the services they say my home needs like the school district.
The program marketing states “EQUITY AND TRANSFORMATION is giving $500/month to 100 formerly incarcerated individuals for one year.
If the program is temporary, and the participants know that, why would they be discouraged from seeking employment?
“but many still struggle to find permanent, stable jobs.” Yet, most of them still didn’t work at all or only worked sporadically, but all self-reported that they were seeking employment. That being said, a felon with a criminal record, no marketable skills, limited education, and likely, ever present child support obligations and creditors, has extremely limited employment prospects, especially when there will always be an illegal Venezuelan or other ‘migrant’ wiling to do the same job, off the books, for half the price, while abandoning their children and family ‘back home’. I thought the prisons had training programs for the prisoners to transition into an employment field after incarceration. Are these programs similar to other educational programs in Illinois that are failures?
