Cook County court clerk getting boost in reelection bid from her government employees – Chicago Tribune/MSN

Of those employees, 22 received promotions or significant raises in their clerk jobs just months — sometimes days — before or after making those political contributions. Nearly all the raises were $10,000 or more, the payroll records show.
