It’s one of the most humbling aspects of working at Wirepoints.
Every few days one of us goes to our post office box to check the mail. There we often find donations for $25 or $50 or $100, and in some cases up to $5,000. From people we don’t know.
No preconditions. No requirements. No strings attached. They just trust us to be good stewards because they believe in what we do.
We use data to expose the truth on everything from crime to pensions. We dispel the narratives promoted by Illinois’ governing elite. We champion the children trapped in failing public schools. And we promote the solutions Illinois needs.
We’re under no illusion that Illinois can be turned around in an instant. That’s because too many Illinoisans are still oblivious to the full scope of our problems and their causes.
But that’s precisely what we strive to change, and the good news is we are making progress. We see it in our readership and the coverage we get from the national press. An awakening is underway that we’re helping expand. And when it finally happens, we’ll be ready.
With our supporters, we’re working together to turn this state around. That’s why giving to Wirepoints isn’t just a donation. It’s a partnership.

With $162 billion more from taxpayers, couldn’t you deliver a few bond upgrades, too
Audio and summary
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Mark a noble goal but unfortunately an unattainable goal in Illinois. Illinois has gone the way of California and New York. Democrats own the state and even when Republicans were relevant you had the likes of Adam Kinzinger or a Joe Walsh. Just two who were no better than Democrats. There’s no light at the end of the tunnel for Republicans in Illinois one of many reasons people are voting with their feet and leaving this Hell Hole. But keep up the good work.
Happy New Year to the owners/stewards of Wirepoints!
Glad to donate! This site is a “sea of sanity” in a world that has gone terribly awry…
As the saying in 1980’s Poland went: “Solidarity helps win!”…
It would be cool to have some merchandise for sale too!
Any particular type of merchandise you would suggest? We are thinking about it.
I missed out when Orkin was giving away free T-shirts proclaiming “Chicago–#1 Rattiest City”. (Chicago won that title nine years in a row.) So something like that would be nice.
Something with the logo “Speaking Truth To Power”… it would look good on a coffee cup or shirt…
Definitely t-shirts. A person wearing a WP tee is a likely WP acolyte. You’d have a number of walking sales persons/billboards out there!
Coffee mugs would be good. Some stationary too. Pens and pencils primarily. Restaurants/Libraries are the ideal spot for these marketing gems (signing the credit card tab at restaurants/taking notes at libraries) to get your name out there.
Make sure the tees are quality and not paper thin. :’)
Thanks!
Some text for the T-shirts:
Wise Up
Wake Up

or slightly more revolutionary
Wise Up

(Wirepoints) logo Wirepoints.org
That shoulda been (Wirepoints logo) Wirepoints.org
Make the logo prominent.
Also, make T-shirt soft. Gildan softstyle T-shirts are very comfortable, for instance.
