Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.

Hey, I saw a Democratic Party volunteer canvassing Rosehill over the weekend.
They cannot win without cheating. We do not have guarantees in our election process and our voting systems that our elections are legit. No one with any authority is looking into it or wants to address it. Voting in person on election day, Need to show an I.D., Paper ballots hand counted at the end of election day at each precinct in front of anyone in the public who would like to witness the count. By the end of the evening, the candidate with the most votes wins.
Democrats can win presidential elections in IL and Chicago and many suburbs without cheating. Democrats outnumber Republicans in our state, without a doubt. But Democrats major problem, for decades, is that they have a lot of ‘low information’ voters who only show up once every four years. As such, Democrats in Illinois had trouble winning midterm elections and local races. The presidential year voters didn’t show up for midterms and people like Gov. Rauner, Sen. Some years ago my mother was partially paralyzed but was fully mentally alert. Subsequent to the election the election people said not only did everyone eligible to vote at the nursing home she was in they even sent people to help individuals vote. Being there was a considerable number of individuals with obvious Alzheimer’s and my mothers assertion that she did not vote makes me question the voting process at those large buildings with seniors across the State.
Saw the same thing at Oak Forest hospital years ago. The chief engineer applied for mail in ballots for every long term patient in the facility and voted them all himself. He was a Democratic precinct worker.
And who is going to investigate this? No one, no one is going to investigate this. It’s the circular argument that 1. there was no voter fraud; 2. because there’s no evidence of voter fraud; 3. because no one investigated voter fraud; 1. and there’s no reason to investigate voter fraud because there was no voter fraud; 2. and there’s not evidence of voter fraud because; 3. no one investigated voter fraud because….
What Democrat in DC or IL or Cook County has any incentive to investigate a fellow Democrat of voter fraud?
There wasn’t any fraud in 2020 either because no one looked. Even though scores of ballots were mailed to anyone on the voter rolls in democratic strongholds like Cook County whether they still living at the address or had moved. Of course, the ultimate guard against fraud is the mail person who handles those ballots. So all is secure the endorsement by their union of Biden and his fellow democrats wouldn’t affect their behavior. Party politics has tarnished every branch of government service!
Pritzker is a blind fool, jackass as fas as I’m concerned.
