Pritzker responds to lawmakers calling for end of migrant sanctuary status – Center Square

“The discussion about being a welcoming state or a sanctuary state, all of that discussion has always been about what are we going to do about the undocumented people that have been here for decades,” Gov. JB Pritzker said. He said there’s a difference between illegal and undocumented migrants and those who are documented asylum seekers, “so on the question about the challenges that are brought up in a press conference like that have zero to do with the current migration crisis that’s occurring."

Illinois Republicans should take the gloves off and be mocking Pritzker relentlessly on social media for ignoring Illinois citizens and nonstop lying. Turn him into a meme for being the biggest hog at the trough. He needs to become a national laughingstock, which he so richly deserves.

–“If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?”

— If an IL Republican post a meme on social media, but no one is left in IL to read it, does it even matter?”

Well we all know how useless Illinois Republicans are, but JB being mocked by people outside of Illinois would also effective. He would absolutely hate to be mocked with nationally with memes highlighting his lying and incompetence. The point is to make him a laughingstock.

Well there you have it folks. Pritzker is standing firm and Illinois will be a continuing welcoming State. Come next election and if he runs again a vote for Pritzker is a vote for the status of “Sanctuary State.”

More gaslighting – Illegal is illegal. It’s widely been documented by DHS that only 5% of the illegals are here for legit ‘asylum’. The other 95% are here for the handouts on the Plantation.

It’s an astonishing amount of dishonesty Pritzker crammed into that short answer, especially saying the immigration debate is all about DACA, not the millions pouring across an open border, thanks in part to his invitation.

He lies because he knows his position is unpopular. Just like he lied about the SAFE-T pretrial release, saying it wasn’t fair to jail mothers for stealing diapers.

This is complete nonsense. He said this is all about people who’ve been here for decades, but ahem, no, it’s about people who’ve been here for less than two years after Biden opened the borders. Remember the boldface lie he said the SAFE-T Act was about not keeping mothers in jail for shoplifting diapers? Or the boldface lies about banning “To Kill A Mockingbird” instead of actually banning porn in schools? Yes, the communist lies. He knows his policies to transform the system, and destroy, are wildly unpopular, so he lies about what they do, and he lies about their… Read more »

Wait, you mean someone had the audacity to question Pritzker? Now that’s newsworthy! As for his word salad response, that’s just Pritzker BS as usual. The heat is only going to get turned up JB. There’s no end in sight to this nightmare, and the impact of it is getting worse by the day. The peasants are getting restless.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
