Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Speaking of elites, look at the numbers on what they believe. Horrifying. This is from a new WSJ editorial: Talk about out of touch. Among the elite, 74% say their finances are getting better, compared with 20% of the rest of voters. (The share is 88% among elites who are Ivy League graduates.) The elite give President Biden an 84% approval rating, compared with 40% from non-elites. And their complete faith in fellow elites extends beyond Mr. Biden. Yes, that’s a core problem. “Advocacy journalism,” it’s also called, and it’s openly accepted in such of the media and journalism schools. News reporting should have none of that. It has made today. journalism’s Dark Age.
And the wealthy became more wealthy during pandemic. Many of the elite also back certain candidates to finance an agenda which they think helps the world but in fact it enriches then even more. We found out how well Teslas work in cold weather! Even with their vast wealth they cannot make laws or enact them so they need politicians to do their bidding.

The most important point to take away from this is that the elites hate you. They actually hate you, and your beliefs, and they hate to share the same unvaccinated air as you. They live in elite closed bubbles where they have little contact with the real world and they hate the people that inhabit the rungs below them. Looks good! I’m working on a similar project that takes a systems analysis approach to censorship, amplification and other more sophisticated gambits. Amplification of select messaging is just as dangerous as censorship! Does he address interactive, motivational, and predictive elements of human behavior that big tech leverages? How about legal capture?
Is there commentary on class action suits in there? I don’t know much about the law, but class action suits seem like one of the few options left. I’d like to read about class action strategy.
