Is the awakening of the Chicago electorate to late? The elections are rigged more than ever now.

It is too late. But more importantly, Liberals long-taught-hatred of Republicans/Conservatives, is so deep-seated, that they will tolerate nearly anything, in their adherence to their Liberal faith.

Not once. Once! Has the Chicago media played a clip of Lori Lightfoot virtue signaling, how Chicago is a proud Sanctuary City, which she preached, over and over again.

As Tanya Tucker sang: “It’s a little too late to do the right thing now.”

Despite a self created disaster of epic proportions I expect nothing to change in Illinois. The Democrats only know one lever to pull, or box to check. All I can hope for is an equally disastrous Democrat Convention on the streets of Chicago. Let the chaos reign supreme this summer.

Nothing will change until these useful idiots start voting for Republicans.

Sounds to me like the existing free stuff army is upset because a new free stuff army is scheduled to replace them.

So, let’s recap. Those that were getting the lions share of social services see them dwindling and are not happy. Those impacted at their businesses or that lost their yoga classes yet feel bad for Pritzger and mayor Raggedly ( but probably voted for them) are not happy. The taxpayers footing the bill are most assuredly not happy. Yes the “ rich, diverse tapestry “ is working out well for IL, isn’t it?

Ms Smith-Members hit the nail right on the head: “It’s not Abbott’s fault. He didn’t ask for it. We asked for it.”

Johnson has no problem baiting folks to come here with imaginary jobs and threatening to kick them out in the middle of winter. Trauma not treatment!

Truth in Cook County

Keep ’em coming. Chicago and Cook County need to experience the same percentage of illegals per citizen population that Texas is experiencing. There would be a lot of good learning if that happened.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
