Low morale is certainly one thing, but law firms poaching BIPOC talent with trial experience is likely the more significant reason for the resignations. The state’s attorney’s office has historically been a very diverse hiring office often hiring lower-tiered law school graduates of color who lacked the opportunities to work at larger firm.
