The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s recent decision to investigate a contaminated Southwest Side waterway off the canal persuaded garbage hauler LRS to scrap its “sustainable barging” idea that would have loaded garbage from a point along the canal and shiped it more than 100 miles to Henry, saving money and reducing the amount of diesel pollution from trucks that normally haul garbage.
That’s not far enough, I like Old Joe’s idea ship it all they back to Mexico there’s a lot of Mexican waste in there needing to be returned.

Hmm, I remember a story from yesteryear where Ontarios trash was shipped to Michigan. Perhaps we can ship Chicago’s trash to Mexico. After all, we accept their human refuse.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
It would be a better idea to ship Chicago down the river and keep the garbage.
