This will just spur more concealed carry permits. First time buyers realizing that with an additional 8 hours of training they would meet the requirements for a carry permit.
This will only affect legal ownership, illegal ownership will not be effected, she’s a dope.
If you live in Chicago and know any experienced CPD officers in your District, they can tell you there are way too many automatic and other firearms around carried by people who didn’t go through a first background check.
This is not going to deter crime in Chicago. It is meant to infringe on people’s rights. It’s they want to reduce gun deaths in Chicago, they need to break up the gangs and start arresting people for crimes.
