We fly into O’Hare from England, need to go through passport control, eyeball scan, visual profile by Immigration officer, $50 cab-ride to downtown, no free lunch. This guy, he crossed border, got a loaded debit card, cell-phone, and bus/plane ticket to Chicago. Apparently also given an apartment in Carol Stream. Living large on taxpayer expense.

Media only reports the bad stuff. I’m in Carol Stream. We were in a hit and run accident with a US Mail Semi in February. It was an immigrant from Venezuela who stopped and provided us with dash cam photo of the Semi and the license plate to report to the police. I’m grateful. We need more food people to do the right thing.
I don’t just blame the radical right. The media is just as responsible for continuously adding fuel to the fire on both sides. It’s nonsense.
Sorry, doesn’t matter what your experience is, what my experience is or their experience is with illegal aliens, NONE of us should be subjected to these risks and NONE of us should be put in this position.
