Heh… Being overweight myself, I try not to take “cheap shots” at Pritzker’s weight, but GOOD LORD…!!! If I was a billionaire I’d have personal trainers and chefs and good doctors to prevent me from looking like a fat LAZY slob… and yeah, Whitmer is the original “Karen”, lol…

Yet another brilliant proggy advance that surely will create new industries, like more substance abuse treatment centers… These dolts never consider the unintended consequences of their pandering foolishness. Witness the building plague of gambling addiction and now sports book rigging.

All in the cause of panem et circenses. Keep the masses distracted while we enrich and empower ourselves.

Bingo. How do gambling and pot smoking accomplish anything but create major profits for the related business and major tax revenue for Illinois and some of its municipalities? The main effect for most residents is losing money or getting high. No one, particularly the governor, should be proud of building such businesses in Illinois.

Yes the work it took to turn a red state blue consists of running business out so there is no place to work. Put people on government programs while increasing crime by letting criminals free , then sit back and wait.

Just another way to keep the population in the state dumb and the politically connected wealthy. How could anyone believe that this is good for our future. This will only hurt the most productive, the youth and every business that needs someone that can think on their feet. Just pay attention to the employees that work in any position that needs to be productive or that has any interaction with a customer. Look at the falling test scores since we made it readily available.

Horrible leadership at every level in this state…

Drove into the City to visit family last Saturday, traveled down Milwaukee just south of Lawrence where a dispensary opened. Saturday AM at about 10:30, the line waiting out the door was an entire block and parking was filled on all streets surrounding it. Congratulations Governor. This jackass doesn’t care at all about the people of Illinois or the quality of life. The more he degrades life in Illinois the more he follows the Left and their ridiculous policies.

He cares about taxes. That’s all.

I have been saying that all along but always get the thumbs down…..they want complete control……people are either dumb or just don’t care anymore……..either way it’s just plain SAD. That area you were in used to be really nice…now……..forget about it!!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
